Housing Development Corporation Ltd. (HDC) has announced the 7th round of leasing land from the Industrial Area in Hulhumale’. A totoal of 11 plots has been offered on lease under the current round and is offered on a lease period of 25 years. The Industrial Area in Hulhumale' consist of 4 zones; food processing (zone 1), warehousing (zone 2), workshops, garages and the like (zone 3) and other types of activities (zone 4). The currently offered 11 plots consist of plots from all four zones.
The opportunity to bid for the land plots is open for both local and foreign parties. The Bidding Documents for the project is compiled in a CD and is being sold effective from 29th July 2010. The last date for the purchase of Bidding Documents is 17th August 2010. Interested parties can purchase the document for MRF 200.00. A sample copy of the document is also available from the “Downloads" section of the HDC website.
A pre-bid meeting on the project is scheduled to be held in the conference room of HDC on 9th August 2010 at 10:30 hrs. This will be the main forum at which interested parties could inquire on the various aspects of the project.
Completed Bids are to be submitted on 22nd August 2010 between 11:00hrs – 13:00hrs, at HDC Exhibition Center in Hulhumale’.
