HDC has called for Expression of Interest for the development of a fisheries harbor in an 18,843.10 square meters plot, located to the west of the fish processing zone of the Hulhumale industrial area.

This fisheries harbor located in the heart of the Hulhumale industrial zone, with a close proximity to Male and connected by land to the international airport is expected to provide this harbor with sufficient commercial opportunities to flourish as the first ever fisheries harbor of this magnitude in the country.

The project is to be carried out in two phases. The first phase will develop the basic facilities for a fisheries harbor and in phase two these facilities will be complemented with support services such as recreational centers, cafes, football/volleyball courts, shops etc, contributing towards the development of a healthy industrial community in Hulhumale.
