While there are two school buildings in Hulhumale’ - Fareedhiya School and Ghaazee School - currently, Ghaazee School is the only formal education provider on the island. The school is a fully functional integrated primary and secondary school and was gifted to the Maldives by the Singapore Government and the Singapore Red Cross Society. In addition to provision of primary and secondary education, Hulhumale’ also has a small nursery school which fulfills the kindergarten needs of the existing population

The current developments fulfill the current educational needs of the existing population and the potential exists for further developments in educational services within the Residential Neighborhood district should the need arise with the expected future population growth.

In this way, investment opportunities exist for both local and foreign parties, including opportunities to develop an international standard educational facility and vocational training institutes located in the Academic district of the island.
